RandomChat works best on modern browsers: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari (iOS 15+). For voice and video calls, a browser with WebRTC support is required. We recommend Chrome for best video call performance.

Currently RandomChat is a web app, fully optimized for mobile browsers. You can add it to your home screen as a PWA-style shortcut. We also offer a Telegram Bot for a messaging alternative.

Yes. Guest users need only select their gender and confirm their age — no name, email, or phone required. We do not log or record chat sessions. Your IP is used briefly for rate limiting and is not shared. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.

During video calls, our in-browser AI silently detects faces and applies a blur effect by default. This means a stranger cannot see your face until you choose to unblur by clicking the eye icon. The AI runs entirely in your browser — no video frames are sent to our servers.

No. Text messages are relayed in real time and not stored. Voice and video calls use WebRTC and may pass through our TURN server (for NAT traversal) but are never recorded or saved. When you disconnect, the conversation is gone.

Use the Skip / Report button during a chat session to immediately disconnect and report the user. Reports are reviewed and violators are banned. For urgent safety concerns, contact us via @RandomChatXOBot.

The Premium plan (\$5/week) includes: unlimited voice & video calls, gender filter (match only Male or Female), match & chat history log, and the ability to add unlimited friends. The VIP plan (\$15/month) adds country/region filtering, priority fast matching, and direct friend video calls.

Payments are made via our Telegram Bot using Telegram Stars or cryptocurrency. Open the Premium modal on the home page and click "Pay with Crypto / Bot" to get started.

Make sure you've granted camera/microphone permissions when your browser prompts you. In Chrome, click the lock icon in the address bar → Site settings → allow Camera and Microphone. Also ensure no other application (like Zoom or Teams) is using your camera simultaneously.

Video quality depends on both users' internet speeds. Try: (1) switching to a faster Wi-Fi connection, (2) closing other bandwidth-heavy apps, (3) using Chrome instead of other browsers, (4) disabling the AI face blur if your device's CPU is under heavy load.

Matching speed depends on how many users are online. Check the Online counter on the home page — if fewer than 10 users are active, wait a moment or try again later. Peak usage is typically during evening hours (UTC 18:00–24:00). Premium VIP users get priority queue access.
